The Role:

As a Senior Product Designer at Younite-AI, you will join our design team at the Helsinki office. This is a highly collaborative role for a designer, who enjoys driving our cross-functional teams towards delivering intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, immersive, and intelligent digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including fellow designers, product managers, engineers, AI & XR specialists, and clients. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our solutions, making complex technologies accessible and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience.
• Together with your team, identify the business and user problems worth solving and design ideas worth pursuing.
• Conduct workshops with the clients and internal stakeholders.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate design intent and functionality.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement and iterate on design solutions.
• Prepare user insights & research plans. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Help shape the design culture at Younite-AI with our team.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• You have excellent collaboration and communication skills in English and Finnish.
• You are at home with iterative, user-centered design methodologies, and familiar with usability and accessibility concerns in product design.
• You excel at distilling complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences. You use a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
• You are comfortable presenting your ideas to stakeholders. You can explain the reasoning behind your choices, but remain open to adjusting based on feedback.
• You are proactive and self-confident, and able to cope with changing and evolving priorities in an agile environment. You are a team player and you can make decisions.
• You are experienced with user research methodologies and comfortable working with data-driven approaches.
• You have strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• You are passionate for AI and XR, and you have a deep understanding of how design can enhance user interactions with complex technologies.
• You’re fluent with Figma.
